DICE VANGUARD You stand alone against the beasts of the zodiac. You have three dice, six techniques, and no one coming to help. Every turn, the dice fall and decide what you can do. A pair opens a Parry. A run of three opens a Perfect Parry. All odd, and you can Heal. All even, and you raise a Shield. Roll low to Dodge; roll high for a Heavy Strike. Read the roll, commit to a technique, and live with it. READ THE BEAST Each boss shows you what it intends to do next - Attack, Heavy Attack, Poison, or Guard. That one line of warning is everything. Shield before the heavy swing. Dodge the poison. Punish the guard. Guess wrong and the fight turns on you in a single turn. Three bosses stand in your way: SCORPIO, the venom in the dark. TAURUS, who hits like a landslide. LEO, who does not stop.
